Hello,

I’m impressed. I want it.
Can you tell me if it really consume less then 10Watt?

I’m an electronic engineer and I want to make my own domotica.
So I’m looking for a low power pc that can handle multimedia & storage.
This bubba box will do the job I guess as I can create also my own application besides the 15000+ application available out there.

Like it says in part 5 of this review:

“The Bubba is a fully functional Linux computer! There are more than 15000+ Linux/Debian applications available – just install them!”

Excito added the apps that most regular users need and created a very clean web interface for them, but you get SSH and root access, so you can do anything you like.

I read somewhere that they successfully installed mySQL on it. Since it’s running Linux I can’t see why it shouldn’t work.

No database = no sale. Big mistake.
