Find the music YOU like
April 30, 2007 at 10:45 pmHave you ever thought that you spend too much time looking for music that YOU like? Wouldn’t it be great to just enter some artists that you know you like and it will analyze your taste and present you with the music you probably like? And wouldn’t it be even cooler to simply have everything uninstalled and on the Internet so you can throw away your music archive?
Well, there are services just like it. Pandora is one of them. Last.fm is another one. All uninstalled - just enter an artist and off you go. All free - all uninstalled!

- http://www.Finetune.com. Awesome interface and player. More control over the music than Pandora and full tracks available unlike last.fm
- Musicovery (http://musicovery.com/index.php?ct=us) which has to be tried to be understood but briefly you describe genre you like or mood you are in and it then creates a playlist on the fly that you can navigate around
- My strands (http://www.mystrands.com/) a social network and music discovery site
- Tuneglue which is not a player but a music discovery service http://audiomap.tuneglue.net/
- iJigg is a free music player http://www.ijigg.com/
- launching today is We7, backed by Peter Gabriel and which is funding free music downloads via advertising
There are many similar sites around now, all delivering great music usually for free.
